THE KASBAH OF TAOURIRT

The Taourirt Kasbah was built in the 17th century by the Glaoui tribe.
It is famous thanks to its seniority.
Indeed, it was one of the first great Berber architectures built! The Kasbah was for a long time the residence of the Pasha of Marrakech, a high dignitary of the Moroccan royalty.
Tourists will be able to enjoy the exterior architecture of the monument resembling sandcastles: bronzed red walls rising to the sky, crenelated towers at different corners of the Kasbah.
